Defined severities, escalation and post-incident reviews.
Patching & maintenance
Operating systems, runtimes and platform components.
Reliability
Reliability treated as an engineering target, not an aspiration.
SLOs
Agreed objectives with error budgets.

Recovery exercised on a schedule.
Application operations
Keeping the software itself healthy.
Application maintenance
Dependencies, runtime upgrades, small fixes.
Performance work

Use cases
Where teams use it
No platform team yet
You have developers and applications, but nobody whose job is the platform.
On-call is unsustainable
A small team is carrying the pager and burning out.
Migration and the day after
Someone has to run the environment once the project ends.
Operations as a service, with named engineers
Locara Managed is the difference between infrastructure that exists and infrastructure somebody is responsible for. We take defined ownership of the platform and, where you want it, of application operations too.
How engagements usually start
- An assessment of what you run today and what hurts most
- A short, scoped piece of work: pipelines, cluster hardening, monitoring, or recovery
- An agreed operating model — co-managed or fully managed — with response expectations in writing

FAQ
Locara Managed questions
Rarely, and usually not well. Most engagements are co-managed: your engineers keep product and application work, and we take the platform, delivery and operational load. Where an organization has no platform team at all, we can operate everything — but we will still want a technical owner on your side.

Bring your current architecture and constraints. We will tell you what fits, what does not, and what we would operate for you.
